Chris Whitehead, Senior Minister   
      The Reverend Chris Whitehead came to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Mansfield in October of 2006, after serving congregations in Kentucky and Oregon.
     He was ordained in the Region of Louisiana (now the Great River Region) after completing his M.Div. at Lexington Theological Seminary.  Chris has done postgraduate work at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
He and Kate, his wife of 28 years have two children, Jesse, who works with developmentally challenged adults in Monmouth, Oregon, and Dorothy Jean, a student at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.  Kate is the Parish Secretary of Grace Episcopal Church. 

A native of New Orleans, Chris loves Mansfield's friendly people,  and the warmth and openness of First Christian Church.
Our Church Staff has many years experience in service God and the church. We are very pleased to have such a competent group of people doing the business of the church.
